Albany Down
Fresh from recording their debut album produced by studio legend Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, InMe), the British 4-piece are putting the finishing touches to the massive launch of their first opus, entitled “South Of The City”. With a great team behind them and a glittering future ahead, it is surely only a matter of time before Albany Down become one of Europe’s most recognisable super-groups.
A re-imagining of the classic rock master melodies of yesteryear, Albany Down take the raw, gritty and unpretentious nuances of a wonderful period in rock and roll history, and transform it into something really ‘now’; something very special for the digital-download generation, and something for their sons, daughters and parents too. It is truly universal music. Taking inspiration from Free, Zeppelin, Hendrix and the Stones, Albany Down combine a stunning and totally electric live performance with a studio album of superb quality and universal appeal.
MG & The Juggernaut
MG & The Juggernaut are a Bournemouth based hard rock band formed in 2009. Featuring Simon Miller on rhythm guitar and vocals, Luke Albig’s on lead guitar and vocals, Perry Wicks on drums and Elise Jones on bass, the four piece exist to bring their powerful yet melodic rock offerings and energetic live shows across the country and beyond. Inspired by a range of music, spanning the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Placebo, Alter Bridge, Coheed & Cambria and many more besides. MG & The Juggernaut assaulted the Bournemouth music scene during its debut gig in April 2010, making their way to the finals of the Star Sensations’ “Battle of the Bands” competition.

El BosCo
The man with the infectious smile from Discos Out(Murders In) Steve Perry has a new project with his fellow bands members Ed and Giles. They have been hard at work in their garage with the help of Steve Potatoes (Safari Park/Skjitanja) recording some brand new tracks that can be heard on the new three track EP “In Fez”, the EP is being given away free on their Band Camp web site(See Below). The style is quite a departure from Discos Out (Murders In) style, you can expect to hear grungy rifts with some middle eastern influence, the “In Fez” name gives you the feeling the someone has had a brief holiday in Morocco and brought back some of the flavours of this exotic country injecting some of itís mystic. The tracks features some killer bass lines coupled with Steve’s very recognisable vocals, the EP is certainly a promise of further things to come.
