Yorkshire’s finest exponents of all things Dark/Pop/ and Post/Punk are back with a great new single on “Under Dogz Records”. As with their self-titled 2nd LP they have kept to a winning formula – strong, clear vocals matched to chiming guitar notes.
Subtle cymbal tapping in the intro gives way to chiming guitars (Steve) and a chunky bass that crackles with menace in the background almost throughout. Poss (vox) twists his vocal and shows huge range as the various layers come to the fore, notably in the chorus. The ending is truly wonderful as the pace drops and just evaporates. With album number 3 to be released in June, it’s high time for people to stand up and take notice of this quartet. With a Spring/Summer Tour planned it can only be a matter of time before Klammer are heard on a wider scale.
