Atlantic Fire are a four-piece British Rock band from Guildford who formed in 2015. Their debut offering is a single entitled “Running Out” which was recorded at Master Link Studios in Woking; mixed at Beat Street Studios in Leeds, and mastered at Metropolis Studios in London. The band features brothers Gary and Ryan who of course have their moments of disagreement from time to time; which can of course cause its own problems, but what they do have in common is they both have an ear for a good tune.
The new single “Running Out” combines electronics with melodic guitars and passionate vocals to give an initial sample of what is to come on their forthcoming album. The well-crafted tune brings the qualities of modern day guitar sound-shaping. It sounds like a combination of Simple Minds meets Snow Patrol, with a dusting of 90’s shoegaze thrown in. The strong vocal hooks and the addictive guitar sound show masses of potential for the future, with this teaser tune doing its job really well making the listener want to hear more.
