Big Hearted Musical Family Featuring Saints of Sin, State of Undress and Ben Rose put together a fundraising Gig For Lexie & Isabelle at the New Milton Memorial Centre……..

Saints Of Sin

Four members of the same musical family – Josh Rose drummer with rock band Saints of Sin; Charlie Rose lead singer and Alan Rose guitarist with folk-rock band State of Undress; and country-music artist, Ben Caleb Rose – have come together to put on an epic and fun evening of music to raise money for two little girls, Lexie and Isabelle, who have both recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Saints of Sin will headline with support from State of Undress and an opening set from Ben. The gig takes place at New Milton Memorial Centre on Friday 4th October. Lexie, aged 4, and her family live in the New Forest and are friends and followers of all the artists taking part. Isabelle, aged 14 months, is the granddaughter of Trish Chaffey, friend and next-door neighbour to the Rose family and has put up with them all rehearsing for years!

Josh Rose said:
“We’re all really buzzing for this gig. Both Lexie and Isabelle will need specialist equipment and treatment for the foreseeable future and then there’s all the extra everyday costs involved for the families. All of us felt this was the best way we could help – plus we all, especially Saints of Sin, owe Trish big time!”

This will be a very special evening. Not only is it for a great cause but this is also the first and only gig State of Undress are doing this year as Charlie is, herself, recovering from cancer. She was happily and amazingly given the all-clear a couple of months ago and is looking forward to getting back to gigging properly early in 2020.

Charlie added:
“We were due to do a fundraising gig for Lexie in January but then I was diagnosed just before Christmas so wasn’t well enough to do it. We were all still celebrating the fantastic news of my recovery when we all found out about Isabelle. So, we decided to make the rescheduled gig in support of both little girls. It’s definitely been a roller coaster of emotions this past 12 months.”

This is also one of the few local gigs Saints of Sin are doing this autumn as they will be on a UK tour to promote their new album released last month. The album is getting a great response including extensive airplay on Johnnie Walker’s Rock Show on BBC Radio 2; Kerrang Radio; and Planet Rock.

Ben Caleb Rose is the host of Bournemouth’s An Evening of Country and has a single, Take Me Back, coming out on Friday 13th September. Saints of Sin’s new self-titled album and Ben’s new single can both be downloaded and streamed from all major platforms.
