Coyote Jungle is a four-piece band from the Isle of Wight. Despite none of them having left their teenage years yet, they have already released of a couple of notable tracks; “Figure” and “Rain” which can be found on Spotify. The two tracks give a glimpse of their intentions and show maturity beyond their years, with a very credible sound that entices the listener with intriguing youthful chemistry.
The band has just released a brand new track called “Antidote”; a tune that along with various notable festival appearances throughout the Summer, is set to propel the band into the limelight.
“Antidote” at three minutes and 17 seconds is a tune that is a shot in the arm of teenage adrenaline, that takes influence from the recent new wave of indie bands. The band confidently use the raw materials of rock ëní roll music and put them skilfully to good use, creating melodic bursts with atmospheric bluesy undercurrents. With it’s addictive rhythms and Sam’s silvery vocal style, the track after a few listens soon gets under your skin.
Recently the band took a trip to the mainland to support Liverpool’s Red Rum Club at the legendary Joiners Arms. They clearly showed with their 30-minute set what an accomplished live band they have become in just a short space of time who are set to continue their momentum. The single is available on Chalkpit Records now and an acoustic version of the song can be seen in the video below.
