Hotly tipped Southampton band, Palms & Pelicans have released music video Drowzy” as the first single from their upcoming E.P release.
Directed by videographer, Jake Ringsell, the short production depicts the tale of a young boy exploring the woods whilst the subtle animation hints at his magical imagination.
Since early 2015 the Dream-Pop Quartet have been shaking up the UK underground scene with their infectious Grunge Pop. After releasing single ëComfortableí last year, the band embarked on a UK tour, headlining venues in Manchester, London, Southampton, Birmingham and more. This was soon followed by a stint recording in the studio with producer Anth Snowdon in Newcastle.
With the band already supporting the likes of ëKing Charlesí and ëI Am Klootí their live buzz is taking shape and the quartet are already confirmed for Teddy Rocks Festival (with Twin Atlantic, Scouting For Girls) this summer. The bands extensive influences stretch from the hazy shoegaze sounds of The Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine to the melodic, poppier tones of singer/songwriter Imogen Heap.
With eager support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 and Amazing Radio Palms & Pelicans are heading for a fantastic 2017, packed with releases and a tour.
