On 25th February

Fearne

This month sees the last gig of one of the areas favourite artists………….Fearne. A band that have consistently fulfilled expectations with a string of albums that features some exceptional song writing and musicianship. The band for over a decade have constantly evolved performing as a duo, trio and a full band inviting a host of top local musicians to add to their sound. The pinnacle of the band’s career was winning the Dorset Music Awards in 2011 where the band swept away the competition with a thrilling performance at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth. The band were equally at home on a festival stage or in a folk club, their diversity was part their wide appeal.

The band have announced that their final gig will be at Mr Kyps in Poole on the 25th February, where they will bow out in fine style in front of an army of their loyal fans. The support on the night is from the highly rated the Jack Grace band who recently won the 2016 Skirmish band of the bands and Poole singer song/writer Matt Underdown.

Fearne

This indeed is the sad end of Fearne, however, the guys can still be seen performing in various other acts currently bassist Nick can been see performing in Selby & The Dharma Blitz, Adam can be found playing with Mike Ball and the Company as well as various solo gigs and Alex has put together for an exciting new venture with friend Adam Phillips called Hummingbird and the Crow.

Fearne have been a very welcome addition to the local scene and I would like to thank personally Alex, Nick and Adam for all the brilliant music they have provided us with and I wish them all well for the future.

Purchase tickets here for the Mr Kyps show.
