Coming out of Riverside, Southern California like a raging tornado, No Bragging Rights deliver a full-on aural assault with second album Cycles.
Melodic MetalHardcore is the name of the game here and the five piece outfit donít hold back! Band founder and vocalist Mike Perez has an impressive range, veering from shot to clean singing in the blink of an eye with an awesome level of power.
The songs are well crafted with plenty of hooks and riffs with a real Punk attitude about them and can see a fair few circle pits opening when these guys play live. If I have one criticism itís that they sound very similar to other bands like Asking Alexandra, The Blackout and As I Lay Dying but I think that they have the talent to come up with take on their music in the future and forge their own musical path to make them stand out from the pack. Standout tracks for me are; Appraisals and Ommissions, Cycles and Legacy.
