Preview: Old Fire Station, Bournemouth

A new line up, a new energy and a tour is now underway to promote their new album ‘Welcome Armageddon’ (out 14th March). It is their 5th full length studio album and their first with new bass player Richard Boucher and ‘new’ guitarist Gavin Burrough (was bass player previously).

If you’ve ever been lucky enough to Funeral For A Friend live before, then you’ll know what a great show they put on and you’ll probably already have a ticket by now! The gig was originally set to be at Chords in Poole, but due to well publicised issues at the venue the show has moved to The Old Fire Station in Bournemouth. It will still be on Friday 1st April, tickets are still valid and 150 extra tickets became available due to the venue change.

I had the pleasure of seeing FFAF in Southampton a few years back and they blew the audience away, so I am very excited to be seeing them again and in a smaller venue. The atmosphere is bound to be electric and it is bound to be packed from front to back. Don’t just take my word for it, you search the internet and read gig reviews; the boys from Wales have a reputation for bringing it every show they play and this will be no exception.

Funeral For A Friend come to The Old Fire Station on Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth Friday 1st April and tickets are still available in short supply from http://www.o2academybournemouth.co.uk/event/26461/funeral-for-a-friend-the-old-fire-station-tickets

So be quick and get your tickets if you haven’t done so already, this gig is not to be missed. Get a taste of the new album from their official website, with a free download of single ‘Front Row Seats To The End Of The World’.
