News: Farnborough Groove Xmas Party! Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
November 12, 2018
On Saturday, 22nd December, the cream of local talent are joining forces for an Alzheimer’s Research UK fundraiser.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity and for over 25 years, their scientists have been making life-changing discoveries about the diseases that cause dementia. Alzheimer’s is the leading cause of dementia and itís a disease that no-one has yet survived. But Alzheimer’s and other dementias are physical diseases and with your support, medical research can prevent, treat and one day, cure them. 1 in 5 people in the UK mistakenly believes that dementia is just an inevitable part of getting older. If we start to think differently about dementia and challenge others to join us, we can begin to realise the incredible breakthroughs that are possible through research. Their mission is to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025.
