Teddy Rocks Festival has announced its full line-up for 2017 including its three biggest headliners to date Twin Atlantic, Modestep and Scouting for Girls.

Family-friendly Rock festival, Teddy Rocks Festival (TRF) kicks off on Friday 28 – Sunday 30 April 2017 in Blandford Forum, Dorset.

Scottish band, Twin Atlantic are headlining Friday 28 April, supported by English horror punk band Creeper. Twin Atlanticís single “No Sleep” was premiered by Annie Mac as the Hottest Record in the World, on BBC Radio 1 earlier this year. Their highest charting single “Heart and Soul” won Best Independent Track at the 2015 Association of Independent Music Awards, and in the same year were named Best UK Band at the SSE Scottish Music Awards. They’ve performed at Reading and Leeds, and Glastonbury and are now heading for Dorset on Friday 28 April.

Following Teddy Rock Festival’s first international act, US pop/punk band Patent Pending on Saturday 29 April is dubstep and Electronic Rock band from London, Modestep. Modestep shot to fame with their debut album “Evolution Theory” which included popular singles “Feel Good” and “Sunlight”.

Closing the festival on Sunday 30 April is four times Brit award winners, Pop/Rock band Scouting for Girls. Reaching number one of the UK Album Chart that went triple platinum in 2007, Scouting for Girls have a back catalogue of chart-topping singles including ëSheís so Lovelyí, “Heartbeat” and “Elvis Ain’t Dead”. New for 2017, TRF has moved to a bigger site and introduced weekend camping tickets, as well as a third stage named “The Origin Stage” where top tribute bands Foo Forgers, Oas-is, Green Haze and many more will perform over the bank holiday weekend. In its sixth year, Teddy Rocks Festival has the opportunity to raise a sizeable sum to continue the fight against childrenís cancer.

About Teddy Rocks Festival
In 2010; festival director Tom Newton’s younger brother Ted Newton, lost his life to a rare bone cancer aged 10. Following this experience Tomís family started Teddy20, a fully registered children’s charity. As a way of raising money for the charity, Tom started Teddy Rocks Festival in the courtyard of his local pub, The Greyhound; at which time he raised £400. Six years later and TRF has raised close to £100,000 with help from internationally recognised bands such as: From The Jam, The Hoosiers, Don Broco, Gentlemanís Dub Club and The King Blues.
