News: Lyrical Monsoon Win Big at The Salisbury Music Awards
November 8, 2014
On Saturday October 25th seven acts performed at the Salisbury Arts Centre to fight it out to win the coveted prizes in the Salisbury Music Awards. A band that us here at Rock Regeneration have been supporting since they simply blew us away at the Bandalism gig at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth in May 2013. The band have been regular visitors to Bournemouth; ever since performing at a series of venues, thrilling each audience they perform in front of.
The band formed as just two DJ’s and a laptop in 2006. They have since grown into a full six-piece band who perform using a mass of genres and pushing boundaries to their limit. The band fuse together Funk, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Disco, Blues and just about anything that they are influenced by, to create a unique and very entertaining musical experience.
Lyrical Monsoon were very humbled by their award and were quick to thank everybody that have supported them over the past couple of years, as well as the general public for voting for them. The band can be next seen performing at the Old Ale House in Salisbury supported by Bournemouth band Soulhole on the 29th November.
