Panic Room

PANIC ROOM are the award-winning UK band who blaze together a fusion of rock, pop, indie, funk & hypnotic sounds, to unleash “a fire of mesmerising music”. Already dubbed “a minor supergroup”, the band has recorded 3 critically-acclaimed albums, with their 2nd – the stunning and other-worldly “Satellite” (2010) – being voted in the top 5 Best Albums in UK music magazines.

Panic Room’s are fronted by the beautifully expressive Anne-Marie Helder, who as well as winning over the public with her warmth and stunning voice, has also won many awards for her talent – including “BEST FEMALE VOCALIST” for the last 2 years (2012 & 2011) in the Classic Rock Prog magazine. She has also won “Personality of the Year” at the CRS Awards, and been described as a “truly stellar front woman”

Panic Room

The band’s music is unique in its sound, power & passion, and this of course comes not just from the epic song writing abilities they possess, but also the fact there are 5 world-class musicians at play here.

With these phenomenal talents, stunning songs, hooky riffs, and the mesmerising live performances the band give, there is nothing they cannot achieve. Previous shows have included dates at such prestigious venues as Shepherds Bush Empire (London) and St Davidís Hall (Cardiff), and the band are now touring extensively to promote the new album.

Panic Room’s new album “Incarnate” was released on the 10th March 2014, featuring ten breathtaking & original new tracks, “Incarnate” will hook you from its very first breath… and open up a new world of beauty, power, depth and imagination. As the title track says : “the sunlight is an omen.. of a truth we may find”. “Incarnate” is a journey from the darkest to the most euphoric of human emotions all envisaged through the burning musical heart which Panic Room always wear on their sleeve. The songs within this new creation are seeking to explore many themes…

New beginnings, new travels, love, obsession, loss and fear; and the sense that even in our most broken moments, there is a bigger world outside which will humble us, and bring us back to inspiration.

Recorded at Sonic One Studios in South Wales, the band were keen and very proud to work once again with their trusted engineer Tim Hamill – Tim has been the “hands and ears” behind the critically-acclaimed sound on Panic Room’s previous albums : Visionary Position (2008), Satellite (2010), and S K I N (2012).

Panic Room

Combining the band’s sonic vision with the very best engineers in the business (including final album-mastering with Jon Astley at Close to the Edge), the talented PANIC ROOM team have created an album which will blow you away on first listen… Then burn its way into your heart and stay with you forever.
