Si Genaro on The Voice

Si Genaro

If you were like us out at a gig on Saturday night you might well have missed Si Genaro’s performance on BBC 1 TV show “The Voice.

His manically energetic performance of Men At Works’s “Down Under” sadly failed to make judges Kylie, Tom Jones, Will.i.am, and Ricky Wilson turn around. However, what happened afterwards will go down in history and may well further launch Si Genaro’s career and catapult him into the world of stardom.

When the judges came to review Si’s performance his full hyperactive personality kicked in and he just could not stop talking. Will.i.am particularly warmed to him and even invited him to sit down in his judge’s chair. Si then got up and using his harmonica performed an impromptu version of “Chicken Train” which within hours of the show went viral on You Tube.

Si Genaro has been performing within the local music scene for many years giving stunning solo performances as well a working with a whole host of bands including Voodoo Vegas, The Jimmy Hillbillies, Walk The Night and Zoe Swartz’s Blue Commotion. Si is best known for his work with new artists at a host of weekly open mic nights across the local Bournemouth area. If fame and fortune comes his way he totally deserves it, and it could not happen to a nicer, more dedicated artist.
