The Frequency

One of Bournemouth’s premier bands The Frequency finally return this month with some new material in the form of a single called “More Than You’ll Ever Be”.

The single is backed by a great video, made with the help of Dan Henry who some of you will remember as the front man of the Dorset Music Award winning band “The Longest Day”. The video is titled “Back to the Frequency” and follows a theme inspired by the film “Back To The Future” staring Michael J Fox. The video features all of the band as various characters on a rather chaotic storyboard.

The song comes in around 4 minutes 30 seconds but if you carry on watching you will find a hilarious bonus gag reel of out-takes. It was recorded with the help of local firm Absolute Music ( www.absolutemusic.co.uk) in Knighton Heath where both frontman Ausytn Brown and Dan Henry Work. This is the first new material that the band have released since their debut album “Fall to The Floor” with their new bass player Jim Martin. The song is a great return to form with passionate, well written lyrics and some excellent infectious guitars. There is also plenty of other new material where that came from so the release of a 2nd album is certainly on the cards at some stage in the near future.
