Hope Fm Studio, Bournemouth

Walk The Night

Three quarters of one of Bournemouth’s premier rock band Walk The Night came along to Hope FM on Wednesday for their 2nd visit to the studio after previously doing a session in August 2012 when they were then known by their former name Bad Magic.

The band went through the name change along with a rejuvenation of their style and sound. Their gigs are full of energy and a huge passion for the music they perform, with all of them giving 110% at each show giving all audiences a night to remember. Walk The Night have themselves been working hard in their rehearsal space as well as some professional studio sessions at the Room With A View studios in Ringwood.

The have made four tracks from these studio sessions available of their SoundCloud page for free so fans can get a feel of how they are progressing. They are not quite ready to release any form of EP or album just, but are busy preparing new material for use in their live shows as well as a possible future release.

Myself and Jon were privileged to witness a fantastic four song acoustic set which included a killer of a tune called “World Is Still Mine” which had everything, great harmonies, fantastic lyrics and a middle 8 that would put most established rock bands to shame. As usual with most of the Hope FM studio sessions we have exclusive videos for you all to enjoy. Walk The Night have a host of local gigs planned in the next couple of months, if you like your rock music to loud and energetic get your arses down to one of their shows, you won’t be disappointed I promise.
