Three piece power trio Electric Panda released their debut album “Lapdance From Elvis” this year with a little help from a couple of secret weapons who really gave the band a winning formula.

Local music engineer Mikey Davis came along to the “Panda Cave” to give the band some technical help in recording and mixing this 10 track beauty. Also the discovery of the young and very ambitious Ellie Palmer, whose harmonious voice combined so well with vocalist David Brown. In addition the band drafted in the Funky Little Choir to give some welcome additional depth to the final song on the record, “Find My Way”.

The band including Ellie came along to the Hope FM studio to join myself and Tim Heywood for a rare interview; telling us all of the secrets of the album as well as performing a beautiful trio of acoustic songs, including a brand never heard before number called “Long Straight Lines”.
