Drew Allen at Hope FM

Bournemouth singer songwriter Drew Allen picked up a guitar at the age of 8 years old and started learning tabs from a Bob Dylan chord book. However, by the age of 10 Drew was buzzing to power chords from rock bands like AC/DC and Guns ‘n’ Roses.
Into his teens he was inspired by blues and folk songwriters who craft out stories and make their instruments talk. Drew has recently given up his full-time job at the McLaren car factory in Woking to follow a dream to have a successful full time career in music. After a string of performances at local venues and festivals, he has taken to Basement Studios in Wimborne to record the fruits of his prolific songwriting on a debut album which is due out very soon. Drew came along to the Hope FM studio for a short interview and to perform a couple of live acoustic tracks from the forthcoming album, exclusive videos of his performance can be seen below…
