Eddie’s Army – Adam Scholey
July 21, 2013Local musician and AFC Bournemouth fan Adam Scholey has written a song called “Eddie’s Army” which was inspired by their recent triumphant promotion to the Championship, led by their manager local hero Eddie Howe.
The track has received full endorsement from the football club itself and positive reactions from fellow Cherries supporters, with even personal praise coming from controversial chairman Eddie Mitchell. Adam has been creating music in and around the local area for many years now playing in his band “Voice Of Reason”, as well as another solo project “Sounds Like Adam”. The musical talent runs in the Scholey family as brother Dale and Adam’s father Dean both had a hand in helping Adam put the song together. The song has been uploaded to iTunes and is available to buy here. Adam and his band recently performed the song at the Goldsands Stadium, footage from the appearance can be seen below:
