Hope Fm Studio, Bournemouth

Draw Me ugly

After their successful performance on the Saturday mid afternoon slot at Grooves On The Green in Ashley Cross Parkstone, Draw Me Ugly came into the Hope Fm studio for a rare acoustic session and interview.

The band only formed around 18 months ago and have played a host of well received local shows around the Bournemouth area, with the Grooves on The Green gig being their 1st ever outdoor festival. Their sound is really nothing that you could pigeonhole, a unique blend of funk coupled with pop and rock.

Draw Me ugly

The four of them all have very different musical tastes and come from very different backgrounds, but when put together as a musical unit a very special chemistry happens to create something really passionate and intensely delivered. The band’s confidence has grown over the last 18 months and their live performances are well worth seeking out, with a host of varied well written original material they will entertain and delight any audience in front of them. In their stripped down acoustic form the band performed 4 exclusive acoustic tracks with can be seen on the videos below.
