Circle Of Reason

Bournemouth four piece metal band “Circle Of Reason” have recently put the finishing touches to their second EP “These Hands and This Mind”. A five track affair that was recorded at the ever popular Ranch Studios in Southampton with Neil Kennedy and Jim Harding.

The EP is a follow up to the 3 track “A Favour For A Stranger” which received airplay on the alternative television music channels Kerrang and Scuzz. The songs show some very promising progress in all areas with lots of influences from all areas of the rock spectrum. The band create an atmospheric melodic guitar sound coupled with a rock solid rhythm section along with some passionately delivered vocals.

Circle Of Reason

The band don’t really seem to have one set sound as each track is very different to the next. Their obvious progressive experimentation is wielding dividends within their song writing and tight guitar sound, with each individual song taking the listener on an original musical journey. Their sound can be likened to the passionate side of 90’s grunge with bands like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden seemingly crediting some influence here.

The band have already shared the stage with touring bands such as Inme, Fighting With Wire, Feed The Rhino, Girlschool and with a string of festival appearances throughout the summer in a hope to bring their music to a much larger audiences. The EP is to be released through all well known digital outlets on 29th July 2013.
