Boscombe community fair returns to Kings Park this September, and the event needs all the support possible from the local community.

Now in its 17th year this not for profit event looks to be as fun packed as ever with so many different styles of music and performers on display there is something that will suite everyoneís taste . The event is famous for being family focused and this year is no different with plenty to do for both grown up’s and kids.

The fair is ran by a dedicated team of volunteers who have been working non stop for the past 16 years to bring the community an affordable weekend of top quality entertainment any profit made is always put straight back into funding next years event.

The last few years have been difficult and financially it is now make or break time for the fair. A spokesperson for the fair said ìThis is a unique and affordable family event aimed at bringing the local community together for a fun and relaxing weekend in a welcoming environment, we urge everyone in the community to keep their diaries free and come and show their support while watching some of the finest musical talent Dorset has to offer.

Boscombe community fair takes place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of September in Kings park. Tickets will be priced at £5 per day and £10 for the weekend. £2 for under 16’s, NO admittance to unaccompanied under 16’s after 5pm. NO glass on site, Dogs allowed on leads.

The community stage will feature an art gallery exhibiting local artists work and also house a stage which plays host to a range of local groups. Poetry from The Freeway Poets, Comedy from The Improvables, Music from Bourne Spring Folk Club, Silk Seduction Burlesque and many other local groups.
