The Frequency Invited to play in London by Alan Magee
May 22, 2011The Frequency have been invited to play for Alan McGee (Creation Records) and Jamie Kelly in London, at The Brixton Jamm.Not only will the band be playing in front of Alan McGee but they will also be supporting Alabama 3 along with several other hand-picked up and coming bands.
Alabama 3 return to Jamm for another ‘Outlaw’ night playing a stripped down raw set, they are one of the best live bands this country has produced!
Alan McGee (Creation Records) will be hosting the event and will be Djing through the evening with a plethora of other guest DJ’s.
The man responsible for launching the careers of Oasis and The Hives, plays a DJ set that will take the roof off any London venue! McGee’s sets are notoriously eclectic, spanning punk, indie, rock and always a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
FRIDAY 1ST JULY 2011 @ JAMM – LONDON 8pm till 4am
Alan McGee been involved with acts over the past 20 years that read like a who’s who of modern British indie/rock (the guy has managed everyone from Mogwaie to The Charlatans to The Libertines). Not only did he fashion Britpop out of his Creation Records imprint and triumphantly return with the Poptone label.
THE FREQUENCY HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS FOR SALE FOR THIS EVENT. WE HAVE ALSO HIRED A COACH TO TRAVEL UP TO LONDON.PLEASE GET IN CONTACT WITH THE BAND FOR TICKETS AND FURTHER DETAILS RE TRAVEL ETC.
Tickets £10 and and Coach £12.50 return.
The coach is planned to leave Bmth at 5.30pm to travel to the venue and leave the venue at 1am. Pick ups will be arranged nearer the time.
